So when you're in a social situation and you want to seem cool, just find a comfortable place to occupy your hands. Try pressing your thumb, index and middle fingers together and this will decrease the desire to fidget.

5. Slow down! Your actions should be slow and controlled. If you make any abrupt jerky or jumpy movements you show that you nervous and jumpy.
