Spain has always been a popular and colurful destination that has always been a great place to holiday.

To begin, Spain has a variety of hip cities, such as Madrid and Barcelona, which are worth at least a few days visit to absorb in what they have to offer fully. Spain also has some wonderful mountain regions with some regional food that is a must-try. Ham from various parts in the north is a delicacy as well as the range of cheeses from across the land. Wine too is delicious across the country, and the Tempranillo and Rioja remain two of the most well-noted red wines.

Spain is a country with so much to see and do, that a traveller might think it a good idea to sit with a map and plot out the various places to go and see.
