Learn Japanese Fast - The Easiest Way to Fluency in Eight Weeks

By: Andrew Bartlett

These days, when our time is so precious, setting out to learn a second language might seem too difficult. Without the right study materials it would be nearly impossible to learn Japanese fast. However, with proper learning techniques, one could become reasonably fluent in as little as a few months.

Many people find learning a second language frustrating because they try to do too much, too fast. But, when you were a baby and you were unable to read, write and speak, you listened and picked up the sounds that you heard. As time went on, only then were you able to read and write it. To learn Japanese fast, it works the same way. Listening to a lot of spoken words and repeating them is important before you spend time trying to read or write.

A quick trip to the bookstore or a search online will reveal hundreds of books to help you learn Japanese. Yet, with so many options available on the bookshelf, it is hard to know what you actually need or what will work best for you. While it is possible to learn Japanese fast by reading books and listening to audio clippings of supplementary materials, what is of utmost importance when learning a language is that you have the motivation to keep chugging along.

A more engaging and effective way to learn Japanese fast is with a computer program with interactive elements. The addition of audio is one of the primary advantages of a computer program, as you cannot be sure of proper pronunciation unless you can hear the words spoken by a native Japanese speaker. Several of the computer programs even have interactive games and quizzes to keep things fun. When learning any second language, the addition of games and other interactive elements strongly help to reinforce the material.

In order to become fluent in Japanese in the least amount of time possible, a good computer program needs to be part of your study materials. If time is important to you and you want to make the most of it, a solid Japanese language computer program is the way to learn Japanese fast. One thing to keep in mind, however, is not to just rush out and buy the first computer program that says "Japanese". Do your homework and pick one that interests and engages you.

The overriding element to the whole process of learning Japanese (or any second language for that matter) is that it must be fun. If you are not enjoying yourself then why do it? Do some research, find a good Japanese language software program, and good luck with your learning.
