Most any individual that has climbed the ladder of success to be in a management position knows how important it really is to be a Quality Leader. There's a great distinction in leading and managing. We have now all seen those differences, if we have been in the work place for very long. You have some managers are desk people and give the orders and then you have the leaders who work with their staff, train, coach, listen and lead them. They are in the center of the operations so that they know the initiatives are on a timetable and what the issues or concerns might be. They do not rely on someone else to keep them informed. They interact with their staff and the staff knows that their manager is reachable at all times. A leader knows that they are not more valuable than the staff they are appointed to lead. Arrogance isn't acceptable in leadership or management. True leaders know they should never speak down to any other person; making that person feel insufficient just isn't acceptable inside Quality Leadership. True leaders never get too friendly with any one member of the staff. It may well mean trouble you usually do not want to deal with and it really is never wise to date a member of the staff. Work and play tend not to produce a good team. Quality Leadership is aware of their personal expertise and what they might be lacking in some phase of the work. They are surely willing to let another member of their staff, who may possess this ability, have the chance to excel. They are not afraid that someone will out-shine them. Not anyone knows everything there is to know abouteverything. Not anyone wants to look inefficient, but there's a difference and the focus should be; getting the project completed inas little time as possible. Circumstance arrive whichwe possibly haven't had to deal with before, therefore if one member of the team has experienced the issue; it gives credit on behalf of theentire department. It certainly beats having to acknowledge ; we don't have a clue what to do. This is nota weakness in amanger; but strength and Leadership. Value in anything is a person, place or thing whichis worth something to someone else; not simply to you. Value means that you happen to be at a point within your career in which you are secure with whom you have becomeand now your job is to bring about value in yourstaff. If youhave created value with yourstaff; you have become invaluable to the company. Character is somethingalmost all peoplecan see immediately in another individual. The appropriate temperament in dealing with your staff and their work tend to be very obvious the first time someone makes a mistake. Knowing the way to deal well with highlyimportantissues; such asnot meeting deadlines, faulty strategies or having an employee who isalways late, will emphasize ones character very quickly. The most effective managers I've known and worked with, usually employ a firm insight that getting too frustrated only makes the problemsworse and resolves nothing. They are surelycalm, poised and they possess leadership quality by focusing on how to cure the problem and never adding more fuel to the flame. You have become distinctive when you manage totally on what you believe is useful to providing an incredible team. You know that Quality Leadership is not being just one of the many.
